Brewmaster & House Brewery
Nobody is more important to a brewhouse than the brewmaster. The Paulaner brewmaster is an ambassador for the beer he provides, guaranteeing a high-quality, authentic beverage. Not only does he ensure the quality and freshness of his self-brewed beers, he is also glad to answer his guests' questions. He is always in good humour and likes to socialise. His expert guided tours of the brewery are especially popular.
All Paulaner beers offered in the brewhouse are brewed on site in unadulterated form according to the German purity law of 1516. Whether light or dark: all Paulaner beers are always tapped fresh and with lots of fizz. The special beers offered twice to three times a year on a seasonal basis are also brewed internally for guests to see.
Paulaner & Munich
The Paulaner Brewery, founded 1634 in Munich by the monks of St.Paola, has played a significant role in establishing Munich's reputation as the 'beer capital of the world'. The Paulaner Brewery is the leading brewery in Bavaria and its beers are sold in more than 60 countries worldwide.
Paulaner beer is known around the world for premium quality beers. The Paulaner monks began their tradition of slow, hand crafted brewing, using only four basic ingredients: barley, hops, yeast and water. Today, more than 375 years later, Paulaner continues its early commitment to quality and all natural ingredients based on this 'Reinheitsgebot’ (Purity law) from 1516.
It takes 4 weeks for each batch of fresh pure Paulaner beer from fermentation to consumption. After maturation, all our microbrewery beers are served unpasteurized, unstrained and naturally cloudy containing all natural ingredients, vitamins and minerals. No chemicals, no preservation. They come directly from the brewers tub into your glass.
Prost!
