Introducing the team
General Manager
Alex Buchner
Alex is posing on the mountain top of the Alpspitze with Germany's highest mountain - the Zugspitze (2.962 meters high) - in the background.
He oversees the Brauhaus where he has been working at for more than 10 years.
If not in the office organizing your next 'annual Maifest' you'll find him by the bar sampling some product to make sure it's in accordance to Munich's finest art of brewing since 1634.

Executive Chef
Klaus Lukarsch
Remember Paulaner Bräuhaus’ grilled-to-perfection pork knuckle that’s to-die-for? Meet the man behind the Schweinshaxe, Klaus Lukarsch.
With 13 years of chef-dom under his apron, and with a speciality in crispy grilled pork knuckle and sausage made from old homemade recipes, Klaus is no doubt Paulaner Bräuhaus’ man on fire.
“My professional career as a chef began in Beijing in Kempinski Hotel at the Lufthansa Center,” said Klaus. However, the seed was planted way before the word chef was understood, half a world away. Klaus remembers doing food preparations, party services and small goods manufacturing, all part of the family business. “I had food around me my whole life!” It was no surprise then that Klaus ended up becoming a butcher, eventually graduating to the status of a master butcher.
On a personal level, Klaus likes to unwind with his favourite dish, his own spicy sausage called Kobazi, and a cold cold glass of Paulaner Bier (of course). And when he’s not eating, he’s on the course playing golf, and loving Singapore a little more everyday.

Business Development Manager
Jan Lim
The road to Paulaner was a meandering one for Jan Lim. Starting of her career in the shipping department of a Japanese manufacturing plant, Jan attained diversity by moving to tele-sales and direct sales in the press/print advertising sector before doing a sharp turn into recruitment and staffing solutions and retail A&P. Jan finally moved into F&B and for the last three years, have honed her skills within the beer-brewing walls of Paulaner Bräuhaus.
Jan’s stint at Paulaner has governed her the opportunity to do great work in organising corporate events and private functions. Her greatest job satisfaction? Happy customers who are looking forward to more parties at Paulaner.

Cost Controller
Hariyanto Basiron
If ever accounting was dry, accountants at Paulaner Bräuhaus would never know about it. Hariyanto bin Basiron, Cost Controller of Paulaner has been having so much fun, more than a decade has gone by in constant revelry. Starting out as a trained accountant for Paulaner in 1999, Hariyanto today not only does the administrative and accounting for Paulaner, he’s the man who keeps the office going, being in charge of operations and keeping track of contracts, among other pillar duties.
On a heightened moment of carousing during especially thirsty nights or during big events at the Bräuhaus, Hariyanto sometimes takes the initiative to help out behind the bar, tapping bier and having the time of his life making customers happy as the bier keeps flowing.
