BLN Restaurants & Caterings' Paulaner Bräuhaus Shanghai brand was created in 1997 when BLN's parent company, the Namchow Group, partnered with the German Paulaner Group. Since then, Paulaner Bräuhaus Shanghai has acted as an ambassador of the authentic Bavarian lifestyle and has been setting new culinary and hospitality trends in Shanghai while maintaining its traditional Bavarian roots.

With the opening of the brand's first outlet and microbrewery in the heart of Shanghai's leafy tree-lined Xuhui District, Paulaner Bräuhaus @ Fen Yang Road instantly became a popular restaurant in the city. Our Fen Yang Road location features Bavarian cuisine as well as some of the freshest beers in town. The property also boasts a beer garden complete with a typical Paulaner fountain.

Riding the success of that first outlet on Fen Yang Road, BLN Restaurants & Caterings expanded its Paulaner Bräuhaus brand to include three more locations strategically placed throughout the city. They include Xintiandi (2001), Binjiang Park in Pudong (2003), as well as near the site of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo (2010).

All of our outlets serve authentic Bavarian and German specialties as well as other international fare. The combination of serving incredibly fresh beer and delicious cuisine paired with nightly live entertainment from our talented in-house Filipino Bands greatly appeals to both the foreign and local markets, and has made Paulaner Bräuhaus Shanghai "a homeland for foreigners and a welcoming foreign land for locals!"
