Brewmaster & House Brewery

Nobody is more important to a brewhouse than its brewmaster. Just as Paulaner is an ambassador of the Bavarian lifestyle, a brewmaster is an ambassador for the beer he provides. Our expert brewmaster is Mr. René Schwichtenberg, who prepares all of our beers according to the “German Law of Purity” - one of the oldest food rules in the world. Additionally, Marc Bönhold is our second brewmaster, also ensuring that all of our beers are brewed according to the Law of Purity.

All Paulaner beers offered in our microbreweries at Fen Yang Road and Expo are brewed onsite in unadulterated form according to the 1516 German Law of Purity. Whether light or dark, all Paulaner beers are always tapped fresh. The special beers offered twice to three times a year on a seasonal basis are also brewed onsite for guests to see and enjoy.
