Since its opening in 1993, Paulaner Bräuhaus in Kempinski Hotel Beijing has become renowned for its traditional German food, fresh Paulaner beer and warm Bavarian welcome. The beer is brewed onsite according to the Bavarian Purity Law, which stipulates that it must contain nothing more than water, yeast, hops and barley malts. The restaurant’s décor features copper beer tanks, sociable wooden bench tables and staff in typical Bavarian national costume, all adding to the unique ambiance. The award-winning food is popular with a large number of local patrons and regular hotel guests, and during soring and summer, customers can dine and relax in the beautiful beer garden. Every year, Paulaner celebrates Oktoberfest, now a Beijing institution, held according to Bavarian tradition with live music and show girls invited from Munich.
Paulaner Bräuhaus is currently operated under the supervision of Restaurant Manager Mrs Pamela Xu, Resident Master-Brewer Mr Wolfgang Sesser and Head Chef Thomas Ranninger.
Mrs Pamela Xu has been part of the Paulaner Beijing team for many years and contributes a wealth of experience and knowledge in Restaurant operations. Well liked by guests and fellow staff alike, Pamela and her team will make you feel right at home!

Turning his passion into a profession, Wolfgang Sesser is the brewmaster of the Paulaner Brauhaus and responsible for delivering you our Bavarian and German beer tradition, with freshly brewed beer of traditional taste and superior quality.

Executive head chef Thomas Ranninger prepares our culinary delights in the Paulaner Brauhaus and with 12 years of culinary experience, you can be sure to have a mouth watering experience! Guten Appetit!
